Medium layered hairstyles are modern wonders. These trendy hairstyles are popular around the world. They are commonly seen on the big screen, and throughout Hollywood. Because celebrities and magazines have made them well known, many women are sporting them. They were especially hot this spring and summer.
This fall will also be filled with medium layered hairstyles, too. There are two versions of this hairstyle that are seen the most. One has an exaggerated bang, which scoops the face. Since this look incorporates a bang the style is more leveled. Part placement is extremely important with this medium layered style.
With a part that stretches from the forehead to the top of the head, the best look can be achieved. Since the hair is layered, the bangs will flow naturally. They tend to display a sleek appearance, which compliments the face. Some women like to have their bang longer than the sides of their hair.
This can be created by cutting the sides and back evenly. The side burn area will be tailored neatly. This causes the bangs to stand out, a bit more. Adding a slight bend or curl to the end of the hair, you will definitely make a fashion statement. Since red has become a break out color this year, shades of auburn are being used with this hairstyle.
Any color can do the same, depending on your own personal taste. You will be able to put together an entirely different look. Highlights are also a great way to incorporate color. If you can't decide on just one color, why not use several complimenting shades. This can serve to accentuate your face and eyes.
The other version of the medium layered hairstyle really mimics the look of longer hair. This style used a part as well. The part can be in the middle or slightly off to the side. Either choice is stunning, and provides a general appeal to your style. The fact that the hair is layered helps to create a look of volume.
This version is great when the hair is separated to both sides of the face. Without actually covering the face, the sides allow for more of the face to be seen. Instituting slight bends at the ends of the hair adds another finishing touch to this style. This provides a sleek and elegant appearance. The look works well for formal or casual engagements.
