Short Curly Hairstyles
Short curly hairstyles are some of the most popular youthful looking styles. They can be achieved in a number of ways. Some of these styles use tight curls, while others simply use loose curls. Either of these can achieve an entirely new look for you. This is especially true as it relates to women who at one time had longer lengths.
Short curly hairstyles can be done through a bob type haircut, too. The style you choose is entirely up to you. Many women decide based upon the shape of their face. Others select this style simply because they like it. Adding a bit of color to this hairstyle, will serve to accentuate it.
It doesn't matter which version you choose. They all have an elegantly charming appeal. If you decide to use tight curls in your style, it doesn't matter what the overall length is. Tight curls give the appearance of shorter hair, even if it is not. Tight styles can be quite versatile.
The curls can be picked or fluffed to achieve a number of looks. Something as simple as pulling through the curls with your fingers can create a pretty style. Brushing the curls may not work for everyone, though. This tends to create a look that is somewhat frizzy.
Loose short curly hairstyles are just as graceful as the tighter look. These curls tend to have a bit more bounce, which may be exactly what you want to achieve. Most of the styles that incorporate loose curls do so without parts. There's no rule to this, however.
A smartly placed part, may make your short curly style even more charming. Another way to use loose curls with this hairstyle is through a bob cut. This can have traditionally loose curls or those that come from layered hair. The layered look is one of the most trendy these days. There is exceptional flexibility with this style.
Although it is utilizing a short style, you can still have hair with bounce and body. The shorter the hair length, though, the less bounce you will be able to expect. These styles are commonly worn by the younger set, but look great on anyone.
They have a very casual appeal, but like most looks can be worn for formal engagements, as well. It doesn't matter what personal touches you put onto this particular style. You will love the overall appearance.
