Symptoms of Scabies
Scabies is characterized by severe itching. It tends to be more marked in the night or after a hot bath. In infants burrows are often present on the palms and soles. They may also be present on the trunk. The burrow by the itch mite appears as fine, wavy, dark line, if it can be seen at all. Infected individuals with good personal hygiene, usually have few lesions and burrows may be difficult to identify.
