Eyeshadow for Green Eyes and Red Hair

It is said that choosing the right colors of clothing is the most difficult for people with red hair. It is also said that choosing the right color of eye shadow is the most difficult for people with green eyes. If you are someone with red hair and green eyes, you may have a hard time finding the eye shadow colors that suit you the best. Here are some colors to take into consideration.

Black or White Eye Shadow

Black and white are both known to go well with just about any eye color, including green. Even more importantly, neither of these colors will clash with red, which is one color that is hard to match to many colors. Keep in mind that varying shades of black and white, such as dark and light gray, will also look great with green eyes and red hair.

Brown Eyeshadows

Brown is another one of the colors of eyeshadow that is suitable for women with red hair and green eyes. The main reason is because it does not clash with either green or red. It simply seems to blend right in. To get the best look, you may want to consider choosing a medium shade of brown, though dark brown works fine too. Lighter brown tends to be the least flattering on people with red hair.

Eyeshadow for Green Eyes

Green Eyeshadows

Green is one color that complements red hair very well. Although it is generally recommended that you should not wear eyeshadow that is the same color as your eyes, green is the one eye color that you can get away with doing this. It is best to choose a shade that is either lighter or darker than your eye color and not go overboard, however.

Some of the eyeshadow colors that people with green eyes and red hair will want to avoid include pink (especially bright and darker shades), blue and purple. Although these colors, particularly purple, may look okay with green eyes, they tend to clash with red hair.
